Caloocan Update - June 9, 2009

 

A PNR prototype carriage is currently being constructed in one of the buildings of PNR Caloocan.  Photos courtesy of Alberto Nual.

PNR DMU Test Run - June 15, 2009

The Philippine National Railways  was tested again today, June 15, 2009.  The DMR1-ITR1-DMR-2 now has a new livery. Photos courtesy of Ryoichi Motoyoshi.

PNR Caloocan Update

 

 Reese members Karel Brouwers, Alberto Nual and Brad Peadon visited PNR Caloocan workshop last March 27, 2009 and were able to observe and document the on-going rehabilitation of a deluxe carriage.

  

The carriage will serve as the model for future rehabilitation work.

 

The carriage will have reclining seats, overhead compartment bins, comfort rooms and amenities that will give Bicol bus operators a run for their money. Photos courtesy of Alberto Nual.
